The story of Xabier Etxea, a young Basque-American sheep rancher, whose father is unexpectedly killed in an accident. As Xabier is dealing with the ramifications of his father’s death, he learns that not only is the family ranch in jeopardy of foreclosure but his father’s death may not have been the ‘accident’ it first appeared to be.
