IAU Symposium 372 examines the most pressing scientific questions in solar astrophysics, as well as some of the major observational facilities (telescopes and in-situ missions) currently operating. Some emphasis is given as to how best to operate these facilities in a coordinated fashion, to enhance their scientific return.
