Synthesizes the current scientific literature concerning the transmission of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, antimicrobial residues and antimicrobial resistance genes from environmental sources (e.g. contaminated water, soil, fertilizers, processing and transportation facilities) to foods and feeds of plant and aquatic animal origin.
