Compares results on future developments in x-ray lasers and related fields. This work provides an overview and a progress report on this field. It also includes topics such as collisionally pumped x-ray lasers, capillary discharge-pumped x-ray lasers, grazing incidence pumping x-ray lasers, and developments of x-ray laser drivers.
