To Moses, it was through a burning bush. He also led Moses and the Israelites through a cloud by daytime and fire by night. These presences of God come in various ways and are referred to as the Shekinah glory of God. We are God's creation and precious in His sight. God, at times, uses signs to show the world He is forever present. God has communicated to the author in various ways and moved on the author to document these events and share with others. God wants us to share these testimonies to build not only our faith but others'. Although we aren't supposed to demand a sign, there is no doubt God gives these signs for His glory.
