Jesus said in Mark 4:13 - "And He (Jesus) said to them (the disciples), 'Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables?'" Is Jesus suggesting that the understanding of this parable was necessary for the understanding of all that He was teaching? This book provides for an understanding of the Parable of the Sower and, also, a means for understanding the Gospels/Acts based on the thematic context of that parable. The themes of each of the Gospels/Acts are identified based on the nature of the soils in the parable. A direct connection is made between the people-type soils of the Parable of the Sower and each of the themes of the Gospels/Acts. These connections provide for a deeper understanding of the Gospels/Acts and for a clearer insight into how these Scriptures apply to everyday life. The progressive nature of these connections is presented, and it forms a user friendly framework for spiritual maturity.
