Provides a comprehensive, child-oriented research agenda for the nation. This work presents an overview of three major areas: definitions and scope; consequences, treatment, and prevention; and infrastructure and ethics. It is useful to organizations involved in research, social service agencies, child advocacy groups, and researchers.
