After his parents die on the cusp of the Civil War, Trevor Lane gets into trouble with the law. A police chief takes pity on him and convinces the judge to allow Trevor to join the army in lieu of incarceration. But when Trevor is captured by the Confederates and sent to prison camp, he must find it within himself to escape or face certain death.
