10 year old Kate lives in a small Australian country town. At the bottom of their property, the Pappinbarra River gently meanders through the peaceful valley. That is, until a mighty storm hits, swelling the river and blocking the roads to town. An adventure ensues as Kate, her neighbour and Briny the cow battle natures fury.
