Squid is a solitary and rather grumpy alley cat. One day, after eating a delicious dinner, he lies down for a nap over a duck egg. Upon awak ening, he feels anything but placid: the duckling has hatched from the egg and believes that the cat is his mother. Though Squid doesn?t wan t to have anything to do with the newborn, all his attempts to get awa y will be in vain. Where will this strange friendship lead?
