Robert Robertson (1742â€"1829) was a Scottish doctor who served as surgeon on naval ships in the West Indies and Africa between 1768 and 1783. This volume, first published in 1792, contains Robertson's detailed descriptions of his treatments for malaria, yellow fever and dysentery, with case histories of his patients.
