Sonnets, lyrical poems, and two books of poetry, Lola Ridge's The Ghetto and Charles Hanson Towne's Manhattan, are reprinted in this volume. Other poets include Claude Mckay, Sara Teasdale, Amy Lowell, and William Carlos Williams.
