Living in a haunted B&B on the edge of a faerie meadow gives author Callaghan McCarthy plenty of inspiration for writing ghost stories, but protecting Vale House from developers who want to build a freeway through the meadow, as well as from chaotic faerie spirits on the other side of the fence, leaves little time for writing.
