This book tells the story of Joe. His birth mother abused alcohol, he had to be cared for by his grandmother and then foster carers before he moved into an adoptive family. Beside having to move families, Joe had to move school four times. Joe is supported with his difficult feelings by his adoptive mother and by making friends at his new school.
