This seventeenth-century work (reissued in a 20-volume 1905â€"7 edition) follows Richard Hakluyt's Principal Navigations in recording voyages of exploration. Volume 12 contains Anthony Jenkinson's account of Russia, and narratives on China, Japan and the Philippines, by both merchants and Jesuit missionaries.
