Professor Mowatt's edition of Friderich von Hûsen's poetry comprises a reprint of the two Middle High German manuscripts in which it is preserved, together with introduction, commentary and glossary. Von Hûsen, twelfth-century Minnesinger, was a knight from Kreuznach in Rhine Franconia and died on a crusade to the Holy Land.
