The meaning of sculpture suggests a journey through different aspects of sculptural practice, both modern and contemporary as well as ancestral, from the perspective of David Bestu, a key figure in contemporary Spanish art. Through seven different chapters, Bestu narrates how sculpture has undergone a great transformation in the 21st century with the application of new techniques and the emergence of new imaginaries, and highlights the links that exist between the first expressions of the sculptural impulse and the most contemporary.
