Doomed tribe of black Umoja is a story of Malaysha, a young albino girl, who had to be painted in dark black to avoid being killed in a city where albinos were banned. She started her life as a troubled girl, unwanted by her father, Mr. Elvis Johnson, and the rest of the world but somewhat sheltered by her mother, Ms. Johnson.
