Valor and Doomsy's parents force them to flee to the Boonies where they must choose between staying hostages to potential killers, being initiated into a coven of Sorcerers demanding they perform a cruel test of loyalty, or returning home, where they are on a Most Wanted list, and their friends want them to risk everything to stop the 13th Hour.
