In a 1950s era Australia, a mixed group of animals and humans sets out from Sydney toward the now dangerous and overrun lands of Victoria. Their main goal is a stone taken from Ayers Rock which caused vast magical changes in native wildlife. The expedition encounters many creatures that either help or hinder their mission.
