This textbook examines the relationships between soccer, politics, and international relations. It uses soccer players and other individuals connected to the game in order to teach political science conceptsâ€"such as geopolitics, ideology, and sovereigntyâ€"and IR theoriesâ€"including realism, postcolonialism, and feminism.
