John Thompson (c.1866â€"1936) was headmaster at The High School, Dublin (1908â€"27), a Member of the Royal Irish Academy, and President of the Classical Association. This work, published in 1902, concentrates on Attic Greek, with an appendix on Homeric accidence. It remains a useful resource for the modern beginner student.
