Alexa Kane, seventeen, is a senior at Stuyvesant High School. Her father, Tony is a Private Investigator confined to a wheelchair after taking a bullet to the spine when he was a detective for the NYPD. He has been asked to head up TIF (Teen Investigative Force). Alexa, who helps her father in his PI work, has become TIF's number one investigator.
