Although some countries have implemented this model, now some of them have changed their educational policies and started to charge students, raising questions about the convenience and sustainability of the model. In this essay, different aspects of access, quality and costs of higher education are analyzed, trying to expose the necessity of reaching intermediate points in this matter. After all, nothing is really free, isn't it?
