First Nations women around the world have survived cruel; exploitative and abusive practices at the hands of many postcolonial governments and communities. Often people were complicit due to their lack of awareness. This biographical account set during post WWII , describes the challenges faced by many First Nations women aspiring for self betterment through employment.
