This is a book about BOSSY RAINBOW BABIES. What is a Rainbow Baby? A Rainbow Baby is a child born to a family after having experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant /child loss. Losing a child, at any stage, is one of the most difficult, sad, and devastating experiences a woman and her family can have. This loss is usually coupled and illustrated with a dark cloud on a quest to seemingly keep one down. Therein comes the rainbow that signifies a new beginning filled with joy and contentment. Of course, in this case, the BOSSY BABY is the literal baby of our family, and many others. The boss keeps everyone alert, ready, and on track for greatness. Even when they can prove to be very demanding, it's all in fun, genuine family dynamics, and most of all LOVE.
Marline was born and raised in sunny Miami, FL. As a product of hard-working Haitian immigrants, Marline aimed to be a high-achiever. She is a successful Business Finance and Leadership Executive, CPA, Educator, Speaker, Author, and Doctoral candidate. As a two-time author, Marline can now add this third work to her flourishing catalog of writings. After writing and publishing her 1st book, "It'll Happen By 30 - A Relentless Journey of Faith | Delayed but not Denied," and her 2nd book "Kason and Kamden | Yes We're Twins but I'm Still Me," in honor of her miracle rainbow micro-preemie twin boys, Marline set out to publish something special in honor of her miracle rainbow, Kevens Benjamin (KB). KB represents the last leg of the tumultuous 15-year fertility journey Marline and her husband embarked on. Marline has a house full of young men, her bonus son Richard, twins, Kason and Kamden, and the youngest, KB. Marline's husband, Kevens, completes the circle of young men. Kevens Benjamin Duroseau is a happy and healthy Kindergartener. He excels academically and enjoys extracurricular activities such as basketball, reading, gaming, and religious education. He loves spending time with his brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, and immediate family. He has even commandeered his brothers' friends as his own. This is KB's 1st writing project. He was extremely excited to be the subject of his very own book, especially after seeing his brothers' book.
