In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NIVGod made everything in the world. On the first day of creation, God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. Then God continued to work and made the first man and the first woman. On the seventh day, God rested. Everything was complete and God saw that everything He made was good.
