Florida, 1998; the true story. Terror mounts in Flagler County as firefighters lose the battle to control the raging wildfires. There are only three roads for the evacuees to take, and these are blocked by fires. The shelters and motels are filled to capacity as the entire state burns. Most of the county is finally saved by the incredible heroism of the local firefighters, who refuse to give up even when they're told to "let Palm Coast burn."
