As a result, the concerned authorities and environmental agencies insist on the implementation of EMS strategies, designed to integrate environmental considerations in every organizational level. This is mainly achieved through the application of ISO14001:2015, which provides guidelines on potential ways in which organisations can audit their environmental considerations. British Petroleum (BP) is among the largest operators in the oil and gas industry at the local and global platform. This organisation is ISO certified, meaning that it meets the conditions outlined in the ISO14001:2015 ordinances. The incorporation of these requirements has benefited BP in various ways and from different frontiers. The most important implications of the EMS principles have enabled the company to enhance its operational efficiency, primarily by reducing wastages and other inefficiencies.
