This book reveals how God created us-body, soul and spirit. As the apostle Paul said "...may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless..." (1 Thessalonians 5:23) he was referring to how God works within our makeup to bring transformation. Dick brings this process to light and shares his knowledge of how we are each being redeemed to fulfill the destiny God has set before us.
The Journey to Wholeness series is designed to be used as a guide or study to bring an individual into personal freedom and spiritual maturity. It is also designed to use as a study guide for a small gathering, home group, or a classroom setting. This material is a resource for leading a discipleship group, personal growth group or teaching a series for ministry training. Each topic is a separate booklet. Although all topics fit together to become the Journey to Wholeness, each can be discovered and applied separately to impart life, freedom and spiritual growth as needed.
A message to you from Dick --
This series is called Journey to Wholeness because it is the journey the Lord is taking me on to become whole. I find it has changed me and will do the same for others. I would say, as you discover these truths, take time with the Lord and ask Him to give you revelation how to apply these in your own life. This is great preparation for ministering to others and training others to minister.
