Queen''s Bridge, South Carolina, is a sleepy Southern town nestled along the banks of the Black River. Raleigh Myers has just closed his first major case as the newly-elected Sheriff of Craven County and he is looking forward to some well-earned vacation time. His rest and relaxation is put on hold by a gruesome discovery in one of the countless swamps outside of the small town. The chilling nature of the crime and curious behavior of many within the county alert him that all may not be as simple as some would like it to be. Sheriff Myers and his friend Garrett McFadden, find themselves caught in a web of intrigue, murder, and darkness.
