Ginginha is a liqueur very appreciated by the Portuguese. During almost two centuries it took a place apart among the national liqueurs. Its taste varies according to the type of cherry, the recipe used and the different regions of the country. This book reveals the history of this beverage and its former and actual producers. We present the main places of production and consumption. In order to make it easier to locate the traditional bars of ginjinha in Lisbon, a map was included.
