And What Can I Do?

Sobre o livro
Mr. Eks reads the news in the newspaper and becomes full of worries. He asks himself all the time: And what can I do? One day he finds an answer; another day, another and another…
Children can know that things are not easy for many; but it is important to show them the shades of the reality closest to them so that, without the necessity of having to live through the drama of some situations, they have a caring conscience and understand, from when they are small, the need for equality and social justice.
This album takes on the importance of not living only for ourselves, of the effort to help those who need it, of the things that, without realizing, we can do - we only need to open our eyes and learn to look -, to speak of solidarity and human values, having a generous disposition to feel more useful, of how to make our lives more satisfactory growing in harmony… A metaphor of hope to change the world facing up to the problems of our time.
Jesús Cisneros, in the plastic work, combines watercolour, ink and pencil with the digital work, in images where colour and composition play an important part: empty spaces that are filled as the action advances and he shows us through images the personal evolution of the main character.
