Sobre o livro
In the beginning, God protected the Tree of life, to prevent people from living eternal lives as sinners. The funny thing is, bad people don't really care about the rules. They will either find or create ways to get what they want. Such is the case when technology advances to the point, where a person's spirit can now be tagged, captured, and transplanted into a fresh, soulless shell of a body.
When mean people learn how to steal your spirit and transplant it into another body, normally it would be an untraceable crime, since the spirit would lose its memories, but if a spirit got split in half, as is the case with the young girl, Winnie, who's soul was stolen, then her body and the transplant body could each end up with half a spirit. With neither body complete, each half takes on only specific quirky traits. Hopeless gangsters and professional assassins are no match for the mayhem caused by a determined soul that wants nothing more than to reunite itself with its other half.
